In February 2018, Champion acquired approximately 2.76 acres of land on the site formerly home to the John Tracy Clinic. The John Tracy Clinic will leaseback the property during the entitlement period and partner with Champion in the approvals process, eventually moving to a newer, better equipped facility within the immediate area.
Champion will seek entitlements for an approximate 180,000 square-foot building featuring 99 rental apartments. The project will utilize the state density bonus law and include five units set aside for very low-income households. Amenities will include a large multi-story clubhouse, resort style pool, fitness center, and sand volleyball courts.
