SEATTLE, Wash. — Champion Real Estate Company (“Champion”), announced today that it has acquired .33 acres of land near University of Washington in Seattle, Washington for $7.3 million.

Victory at the U, LLC, a subsidiary of Champion has obtained approvals for the  development of Victory at the U, a 110-unit, 516-bed student housing community with a central leasing office located at 700 NE 45th Street.

A short walk from University of Washington, Victory at the U will feature vinyl plank flooring, cabinetry, quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances and modern fixtures. Community amenities include a study center, fitness center, recreation center and community rooftop deck with views of Lake Union. Victory at the U will be leased by the bedroom and all bedrooms will be fully furnished including televisions and Sonos soundbars.

“Upon opening escrow in late 2019, we started working to obtain entitlements to develop Victory at the U, securing them in the first quarter of this year,” said Garrett Champion, Executive Vice President with Champion Real Estate Company.  “We will continue to make strategic student housing acquisitions at name brand universities with inherent demand including looking at new markets like Seattle.”
